Bodytalk: 45 artists with Limburg connections in unique art exhibition

In a special collaboration between De Salon Sittard-Geleen and Het Nieuwe Domein, the exhibition BODYTALK is proudly presented. More than 45 artists with a connection to South Limburg come together to explore the meaning of body language and human identity in the contemporary era. From September 17, 2023 to January 14, 2024, this exhibition offers a fascinating journey through various art disciplines and interpretations of the human body.

Reflection on body language

Body language is an important part of human communication. With your body you can show who you are, or who you could be. You can adjust, change, dress or paint your body, but you can also express it through facial expressions, posture, gestures and appearance. The body speaks. In BODYTALK visitors are invited to reflect on body language as a form of communication. More than 45 artists, often with their roots in Limburg, contribute to this visual conversation. Each artist makes a unique contribution to understanding how body language shapes and expresses our identity.

Initiative and location BODYTALK is an initiative of De Salon Sittard-Geleen, held in Het Nieuwe Domein. The museum hall at Ligne 5, Sittard, opens its doors for this event from September 17, 2023 to January 14, 2024. The official opening will take place on September 16 at 4:00 PM in the foyer of Filmhuis Zicht, Ligne 5 in Sittard.
