    No Art Fashion

    My Deinen

Transparent bodies and glowing appendages were exhibited in an almost dark world of Art No Fashion in Roggel.
Ans Verdijk worked for three weeks like a fish in a large diffuse basin.

A milky white window was the only view outside. Shadows of light projected shapes onto the window which became a canvas for her transparent linear three-dimensional images.
Plank-tonic creatures, larval forms, a macro and micro underworld were created and after the three-week incubation period were placed in isolation in the niches of the No Art Fashion exhibition space.
Shiny silk cloths depicting scenes referring to the structures of Earth's urban planning of life hung before the fluorescing planktonic, larval creatures.
Textile rugs on the floor refer to floating on a surface such as on a boat or looking into an infinite depth or distance, floating in the air.
You felt like you were in a fluorescent theatre, as if you were in a vacuum world where everything came to life, the human and the animal came together.

Fellow exhibitor Jet Nuij showed black and white projections as if she wanted to destabilize the surface.
