How to become part of a bigger entity? Something more than human?

On the 19th of December at 18:30, Ans Verdijk & MOSs Social Club will host a performative reading session at POPOP in Nijmegen.

How to relate to another body, different than yours? How to make chin with water and other bodies of water?
Collectively we will search for our ancestors, ourselves in different bodies, water bodies.
What is the voice we can give to ourselves in another shapes?
We invite you to go on this journey together with us.

Together we will read a text by Octavia Butler and Astrida Neimanis . After that we will give voices to our new shapes.

From December 16th, Ans Verdijk and MOSs social club (Hannah van der Schaaf) will work in residence at POPOP. They will enter into an intensive collaboration and search for the essence of performance art. In this context, they will organize short events/interventions in which they the audience into their research. The first action is this reading planned for December. After that, more interventions will take place in January. Keep an eye on our socials for this. And there will be an exhibition in connection with this work period.
